Madagascar 4 Storyline
Madagascar 4: Madagascar is a computer-animated franchise produced by DreamWorks Animation. The voices of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer and Jada Pinkett Smith are all featured in the films. It began with the 2005 film Madagascar, the 2008 sequel Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, and the third film Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted in 2012. A spin-off film featuring the penguins, titled Penguins of Madagascar, was released in 2014. A fourth film, Madagascar 4, was announced for 2018, but has since been removed from its schedule due to the studio’s restructuring.
Despite the last movie being the most successful in the franchise to date, Madagascar 4 still hasn’t happened – here’s what we know about the animated sequel. The original Madagascar arrived in 2005 and told the story of four pampered Central Park Zoo animals who find themselves shipwrecked on Madagascar and have to tap into their inner instincts to survive. The film’s colorful visuals and likable characters, voiced by the likes of Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, and Jada Pinkett Smith, saw it become a sizable hit.
The overall plot through the series follows the adventures of four Central Park Zoo animals who have spent their lives in blissful captivity and are unexpectedly shipped back to Africa. Now they must struggle to survive while attempting to return to New York City with the help of a crafty cadre of penguins and with many other characters along the way.
Madagascar 4 Release Date
First is just a Fox title with no DreamWorks Animation connection. The studio has set a February 27, 2015 release date for Hitman: Agent 47, a follow-up to the 2007 video game adaptation which earned almost $100 million worldwide and starred Timothy Olyphant and Olga Kurylenko.
The new film stars Rupert Friend and Zachary Quinto. 20th Century Fox and DreamWorks Animation today announced new release dates all the way through the end of 2018. Madagascar 4 – The fourth installment in the animated animal sequel featuring the voices of Chris Rock, Ben Stiller, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Schwimmer, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Cedric the Entertainer opens May 18, 2018.

Uncharted 4 Madagascar
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is out, and PlayStation 4 now has another phenomenal exclusive under its belt. Naughty Dog was so confident in the game’s success that they lifted the embargo for reviews early last week. My own review praised the game in many ways, with the caveat that to some degree, we’ve done a lot of this before. But overall, Uncharted 4 is a thrilling, gorgeous, fantastic game, and I doubt most players will be disappointed when they pick it up.
Uncharted 4’s Madagascar shows the heavy influence of The Last of Us. Nearly 10 years and 21 million copies sold later, developer Naughty Dog is ready to say goodbye to the action-adventure franchise with Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (out May 10 exclusively for PlayStation 4).
The jovial treasure hunter has been the star of the Uncharted series since the first entry debuted in 2007 for PlayStation 3. Nearly 10 years and 21 million copies sold later, developer Naughty Dog is ready to say goodbye to the action-adventure franchise with Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (out May 10 exclusively for PlayStation 4).
During a recent presentation for the press in Los Angeles, creative director Neil Druckmann said “compromising was never an option” for Nate’s swan song, hence the numerous delays the game went through before the studio firmly settled on a date. Naughty Dog wasn’t satisfied with just making a larger, prettier sequel. A lot of the innovations in Uncharted 4 actually occur in between the action-packed set pieces and impressively detailed cutscenes.
